Apple & Plant & Tomorrow
A unique and thought-provoking project, Apple & Plant & tomorrow is a project discussing subjective consciousness and how it alters our perception of the world around us.
With subjective and preconceived filters, many of us have different feelings about the same subjects or ideas based on many different factors. The thesis presents three words, ranging from concrete to abstract: apple, plant, and tomorrow.
Different people were asked to draw images that visually represented each word in their minds. These collected images were then translated into 3D models with new colors or textures represented by the designer. We all know that the world looks different through each of our own sets of eyes. This project visualizes this reality, and the final work is itself a subject view.
